About The Author: Wendy Elmer, long-time Library Assistant at Teachers College, was born in New York City. She graduated from Corpus Christi Grammar School and Mother Cabrini High School. Wendy also attended the Institute of Children’s Literature, and she belongs to the International Society of Poets. Her second novel is currently at the printers, and a third one is in the making.
