The Floating University teams up with NYPL

| November 8, 2011

The New York Public Library has teamed up with The Floating University to provide NYPL patrons access to The Floating University’s inaugural course “Great Big Ideas”.

People not affiliated with the New York Public Library can gain access to these interesting courses for $495. That may not be an affordable price for everyone, but considering you are getting a semester long course with premiere thinkers in their fields, this is impressive. Perhaps other public libraries will be able to coordinate a similar arrangement for their patrons. I can’t wait to see how this plays out, and also, to participate in this great opportunity
